How
do I become a member of Grace Church?
We have an official membership at Grace Church for two
primary reasons. The first is that in our society today,
commitment has become a four-letter word. No one wants
to make a commitment to anything. Yet in the Bible,
commitment is the heart of our relationship to the Lord.
We do not ask anyone to become committed to any person
or persons at Grace, we only ask that each member make
a commitment to the Lord first and then to support their
fellow believers, which is what God asks of all of us.
The second reason is that the pastors of Grace Church
want to make a commitment to fully meet the needs of
those who are willing to commit themselves to Grace
Church. The membership commitment and the pastoral commitment
are covered in CLASS 101.
There
are four parts to becoming a member of Grace Church.
1.
You must be a Christian. The bible teaches that the
moment you trust in Christ as your personal Savior,
you become part of the family of God and that means
you need to be part of a local church. If you are not
sure you are a Christian, click on the following link.

2.
You need to be baptized. Christ commands all of us
as believers to be baptized as a means of identifying
ourselves as His children. If you want more details
about baptism, click on the following link.

3.
You need to attend CLASS 101 of our Growth Connection
series. This class explains everything about Grace
Church and will help you know what to look for in
a church and help you decide if Grace is the church
for you. Click on the following link for more information
about CLASS 101.
4.
You must sign the Grace Membership Agreement. This
explains what the Bible teaches what every member
of a local church should commit themselves to. This
is covered in detail in CLASS 101.
