Below is a list of specific volunteer opportunities.

Multi-Media Department - Photo/Video/Lighting

Equipment Maintenance Volunteer:  This position is needed to help maintain and clean all photo/video equipment.  Responsibilities include cleaning of all monitors, video mixing equipment, clean and maintain all projectors, and keep stored equipment organized. 

Video Editor:  Do you have experience and equipment to edit video?  We have an opportunity for you to help edit videos for the weekend services.  Final Cut Pro experience preferred, but not required.  

Camera Operator:  Volunteers wanted to run the camera during the 10:00am and 11:30am services on Sundays for overflow seating and weekly sermon recording.  Time commitment is one weekend each month.

Video Switcher Operator:  Volunteers wanted one weekend per month to mix the Sunday sermon for overflow during the 10:00am and 11:30am services.  

Lighting:  Volunteers wanted to run preprogrammed lighting for the weekend services. No experience necessary - training provided. The time commitment is for all five services for the weekend, once a month.

Children's Ministry

Teachers:  Children's Ministries has many opportunities for you to get involved.  Teachers wanted for all service times and all ages (Nursery through 6th grade).

Check-In:  Volunteers wanted to help check in children on our computer system. You can still attend service and have an opportunity to meet new people.  Time commitment is the first 15 minutes of a service.

Food Ministry:   Do you have a passion for baking or cooking? We have opportunities for volunteers in the the Food Ministry. We are looking for people who have a passion for loving someone through their stomachs. Food is one of those things that everyone loves to share with any emotion. Help Grace Church celebrate the birth of a new baby or provide comfort to those recovering from surgery or the loss of a loved one. Open Hearts - Nursing Home and Elderly Visitation Ministry:  Do you like to sing, play music, help with activities and crafts?  Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly reading or playing games?  We have volunteer opportunities at facilities in our community.  If you would like the opportunity to enrich other's lives as well as reward your own, please contact Linda Stratton at (303) 430-5697 or email:  linda stratton

Pastoral and Family Care Ministry:  Our Ministry has an opportunity for a volunteer to research the internet (from home) to find housing, schooling and job opportunities for people who have been incarcerated.  We want to help them re-enter society.    Contact Shirley Schreiber at (720) 895-9011 or email:  shirley schreiber

Prayer Ministry:  We have opportunities for people who are willing to give 1 to 2 hours of their time on Monday nights to pray for their brothers and sisters in Christ. They must be able to keep the information they are praying about confidential. You can join us at the Church on Monday nights or pray from home.

Communications Department: Do you have experience in marketing or advertising? We are looking for individuals to join the communications team and help us get valuable information to the congregation and the community. Copy writer - Are you gifted in the area of writing? We are looking for individuals to provide verbal or written aspect of promotion and communication that we use here at Grace.

Copy editor – We are looking for copy editors to volunteer in the communication department. Copy editors check written material to correct errors in grammar, spelling, usage and style. They perform tasks such as editing and proofreading.

Design Team – Do you have experience in Publisher, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Flash or Adobe? We are looking for creative individuals in the area of graphics or illustration.

Grace Unlimited Bookstore Cashier:  Do you have a friendly personality and attention to detail?  Would you like to meet new people and have the chance to see friends from other services?  The Bookstore is the place for you! We have opportunities during the weekend services on Saturday and Sunday. Complete training provided to help you serve in the Bookstore.

Greeters Ministry: We are looking for Saturday night greeters and Sunday 11:30am services.  This is an easy ministry to volunteer in - just show up 30 minutes prior to the service with a warm smile.  For more information, contact Rick or Lisa Roehrig at (303) 278-7421 or email: rick & lisa roehrig

Staff Appreciation Ministry: Are you trying to find a way to get to know the Staff of Grace Church and show them how much you appreciate them? Bring your talents and celebrate how much they mean. We have opportunities for people who love to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, Holidays and anything else that can show our Staff appreciation. Trustee Ministry:  The Trustee Ministry would like 2 to 4 volunteers who meet the following qualifications:  Believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; regular attendance of Grace Church (at least one year); treat offering information and prayer requests with confidentiality; be trustworthy, honest, accountable & sincere; able to work with other people; able to use a calculator; and pass a police check. Weekend On Call Maintenance:  This is an opportunity that only requires about an hour and a half a week, it can be during the service that you regularly attend or any of the four services. This opportunity details checking in with the staff on call person, letting them know where you will be seated in the auditorium so that they can locate you easily.  Your responsibility is to be the on call maintenance person that can take care of needs that may come up during the service, for example: restocking the restrooms with hand towels or toilet paper, picking up messes, empty trash, minor plumbing, and electrical issues.
