Upcoming Trips

We are so excited to announce our upcoming trips in 2008. We will have three trips, each one

traveling to a different village of the Chayahuita Indians. These Indians are located in the Amazon

Basin in Peru.  Grace Church is very proud to have formed a church 2 church relationship with the

wonderful Chayahuita Indians.

Trips for 2008:

• June 6- June 21 (16 days)              
• June 27- July 18 (22 days)             
• July 25- August 8 (15 days)            

Each one of these trips will visit Yurimaguas, Peru and then travel to the particular village. Grace

Church owns a home in Yurimaguas that facilitates and hosts many Chayahuita Indians. Once in the village, the team will be teaching basic skills such as health, small engine, business and youth

activities. It should be a great time of teaching and learning!

Past trips have proven to be very fruitful for the Indians, but also Grace Church as we see the

unfolding of God’s divine plan and love for His children. It is truly amazing to see the gospel

transform these amazing individuals. The Bible is being translated into the Chayahuita language in

addition to the paraphrase that was completed decades ago. They are thirsty for the Word of God

and typically walk days through the rainforest to hear the Bible spoken in their own language. It

proves the fact that the work of the Lord is alive and well in the remote parts of the world. What a

joy to be able to serve God in another culture as well as our own.
