Pastoral Care / Meeting Your Needs

Meeting Your Needs

Weekend Services

Our Weekend services are each identical so that we can teach the truth of God’s Word to every person God brings through our doors. Each service is opened with exciting and focused contemporary worship that appeals to all ages.

There is also a place for your children during these service times. The C.L.I.M.B. Our Children’s Ministry offers Sunday School classes for elementary, preschool and nursery in conjunction with our weekend services. The Children’s Ministry believes every child is important and created with spiritual gifts and the same purposes as their parents; so we love and care for each of them through interactive teaching and practical Christian education.

Home Fellowship Groups

We offer Home Fellowship Groups for all ages. This concept is based on the early New Testament church impressing on every believer the importance of caring for their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. This gives us hundreds of caregivers to do hospital visitations, one on one discipleship, counseling, encouragement, fellowship and fun. We believe many churches miss out on this incredible opportunity to spread around the care and compassion of the congregation reserving this privilege for only the Pastor or staff. This concept causes many to fall through the cracks and go without the spiritual care they are so desperately needing. We also offer counseling and biblical insight from our Pastors as well as various professional counselors.

Counseling

Private, fee-for-service counseling is available at the church for church members. To talk to someone about counseling, contact Pastor of Family Care, Budd Long 720-895-9035 or stop by the Growth Connection Center in the foyer during any weekend service and fill out the Response Form online.

Prayer Requests

The Prayer Team, Pastors and Staff pray for each request every

week. Your prayer requests are important to us. Please call the

Prayer Hotline at 720-895-9005 and press option #1 to record your request, or fill out the prayer request section on the back of the guest card located in any weekend service bulletin and drop it in an offering box.

When you submit your prayer request either on the hotline or prayer request card you can indicate whether or not you would like a follow-up call. Someone from the Prayer team or Grace Staff would love to call and let you know that we are praying for you.

The Prayer team meets each week to pray for these requests.  If you would like to be a part of this ministry, complete the response form online or fill out the Interest Card at the Growth Connection Center with your name and number and a staff member will contact you.

Baptisms

At Grace we believe that baptism is the first step in connecting ourselves with Christ's body, the church, and is our first step in following Him. That is why being baptized is one of the requirements of joining Grace Church. But even if you don't join our membership, it is still God's command to you as a believer to be baptized. Baptisms are celebrated the fourth Saturday of every month.

Communion

Communion is a time when believers come together to proclaim the Lord's death and what His finished work on the cross accomplished. The bread is symbolic of Christ's body and the drink symbolic of the blood He shed for the forgiveness of sins.

We at Grace Church encourage our Home Fellowship Groups to partake of communion as often as they can.

1 Corinthians 11:26 (NIV)
For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Child Dedication

We at Grace Church welcome the opportunity to assist parents in raising their children to love and honor the Lord. Child Dedication is just the first step in this exciting but challenging journey. Child Dedications are celebrated once every quarter.
