AXIS Definition: The center or focal point
In our lives we have the choice to determine what’s most important, we determine what we live our lives for. We at THE AWAKENING have chosen to put God at our center…the AXIS of our life.
The AXIS is our mid-week event that students from around the Metro area come to be refreshed, renewed and challenged through hanging out with others, worship, and bible study!

Challenge of the Month
Life is a journey! Sometimes it is so exciting that we can't wait to see what comes next! Other times our journey is hard and we wish we were not on it! But the one truth of this journey is that as Christians we are NEVER alone! God promises that He will never leave us or disown us! How cool is that? So where ever your journey has taken you remember you are not alone and I challenge you to live a life that pleases God, the faithful partner in your journey! Deuteronomy 31:6
